Is Slow Cow a supplemented food?

Yes. In Canada, Mind Coolers are supplemented foods: drinks with added vitamins, minerals or other ingredients. That's why every can carries a Supplemented Food Facts table, a caution identifier and cautionary statements. Please read them before drinking.

Do I have to pick just one?

No — and most people don't. The three aren't better or worse versions of each other. Serenity is for when the day has been a lot. Focus is for when something actually has to get done. Shine is for the things that show up in months rather than minutes.

What’s in the Mix pack?

Eight cans each of Serenity, Focus and Shine — 24 cans total. The Mix pack arrives with Serenity. For now, pick Focus, Shine, or both.

How do I fit Slow Cow into my day?

Everyone's different, so we don't promise a timeline. Slow Cow is made to fit into your routine: Focus for your work, study or training sessions, Shine as a daily ritual, Serenity for your wind-down moments.

How long does shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 2–5 business days anywhere in Canada. You'll get tracking as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

The science inside

Focus

Nootropic

Alpha-GPC is a premium source of choline, the nutrient your body uses to make acetylcholine.

Caffeine-Free

There's no caffeine in here. None. What you taste is green tea and L-theanine, with a warm, spicy kick from ginseng, ginger and rosehip. Nothing is being borrowed from your afternoon to pay for your morning.

Hydration

Focus contains electrolytes — sodium, potassium and magnesium — and it's easy to sip through a long work or study session.

Antioxidants

Decaffeinated green tea extract, a source of catechins like EGCG, with rosehip. All of green tea's character, none of the caffeine.

The science inside

Shine

Collagen

Shine uses hydrolyzed collagen, already broken down into small peptides. A full 5 g in every can.

Radiance

Biotin is a B vitamin and a factor in energy metabolism and tissue formation. It sits alongside the collagen in every can of Shine.

Antioxidants

Shine is made with green tea polyphenols, vitamin C and beta-carotene (provitamin A). Our blueberry, açaí and hibiscus flavour is a nod to them.

Mood

L-theanine, EGCG, catechins and glycine join the collagen, with a touch of ginseng in the flavour. Shine is a ritual for how your day feels, not only how it looks.

What People Are Saying

  • So much easier than collagen powder tbh. I keep Shine in the fridge and grab one after pilates. With powder I’d always forget about it.

    Lilysam M.Shine
  • I was drinking 2 or 3 energy drinks a day at work. Been having Focus instead for about a month. Still feel focused and I prefer the taste. The fact that there’s no caffeine is a big plus for me.

    Antoine L.Focus
  • The blueberry acai is so good. Not too sweet and doesn’t have that weird powder taste. I usually have one in the afternoon.

    Brieanne M.Shine
  • Still have my morning coffee but I’ve been having Focus in the afternoon instead of another 2 coffees. I can concentrate without feeling jittery or crashing at 3.

    Olivier R.Focus
  • I remember Slow Cow from years ago so I wanted to try these. Shine’s my favourite. Just tastes like a good fruity drink. My sister’s into it now too.

    Amanda R.Shine
  • I like having a focus when I have a lot of studying to do. I go through them too fast lol.

    Baran S.Focus
  • I like that you can see the ingredients and amounts right on the can.

    William P.
  • Been having it before hockey. I feel focused during the game without that shaky feeling I used to get from pre workout.

    Kingston B.Focus
"Steady focus and zero crash. Exactly what I wanted."

"A collagen routine I never skip."

Ingredient Spotlight

What each ingredient is, and what it's known for.

  • L-theanine

An amino acid found naturally in tea leaves. Studies suggest it promotes a relaxed yet alert state of mind, without drowsiness, which is why it's so often paired with other focus ingredients.

  • Alpha-GPC

A natural choline compound and one of the most studied nootropics. Choline is what the body uses to make acetylcholine, a messenger tied to memory and attention, and studies have looked at Alpha-GPC for its role in memory, focus and mental performance.

  • Hydrolyzed Collagen

The most abundant protein in the body, found in skin, hair, nails and joints. Hydrolyzed means it's broken into small peptides that are easier to absorb, and studies have looked at daily collagen for skin elasticity and hydration.

  • Panax Ginseng

A root valued for centuries in traditional Asian practice and one of the world's most studied botanicals. Often described as an adaptogen, traditionally used for energy and vitality. Earthy, warm and slightly sweet.

  • Magnesium

An essential mineral involved in over 300 reactions in the body, including muscle and nerve function and energy metabolism. Many people don't get enough of it, and it's well known for its role in relaxation and recovery.

  • Sodium Hyaluronate

The salt form of hyaluronic acid, a molecule found naturally in skin and joints. Famous for holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water, it's a star of hydration-focused beauty routines.

  • Biotin

Also called vitamin B7. A factor in energy metabolism and tissue formation, and one of the best-known vitamins in hair, skin and nail routines.

  • Ginger root

    Ginger Root

A root used in kitchens and herbal traditions for thousands of years, traditionally used to support digestion. Loved for its warm, spicy, thermogenic kick.

  • EGCG & Catechins

Natural polyphenols found in green tea. EGCG is the most abundant and the most studied, best known as an antioxidant and researched for its role in metabolism.

  • Glycine

The smallest amino acid and a key building block of collagen, making up about a third of it. Also studied for its role in relaxation and sleep quality.

  • Taurine

An amino acid found naturally in the body, concentrated in the brain, heart and muscles. A staple of sports nutrition, studied for its role in hydration, endurance and recovery.

  • Multivitamins & B-Vitamin Complex

Vitamins B6 and B12 are factors in energy metabolism and tissue formation; vitamin D3 helps in the formation and maintenance of bones and teeth; vitamin C is a factor in the maintenance of bones, cartilage, teeth and gums.

  • Antioxidants

Compounds that help protect the body's cells from oxidative stress caused by sun, pollution and everyday life. Found in green tea, ginger, rosehip and vitamins A and C.

  • Electrolytes

Minerals that carry an electric charge: sodium, potassium and magnesium. They help regulate hydration, nerve signals and muscle function, and you lose them when you sweat.
